Supporters of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Likud party were wary of another political stalemate in the country as they awaited the results of the election in the party's Jerusalem headquarters on Tuesday night.

"Even if Netanyahu is going to have 61 or 62 or even 63 (seats), it's not going to be a stable government. So, the prospects for a fifth election might be realised unfortunately," said a Likud party supporter

"Right now, we are 61 according to all the three polls of all the channels. I believe that during the night we will be around 62 or 63 mandates, but it also will be a bit complicated because if Ram, the Arab's party, that right now not pass the minimum that they need but they are very close and if they pass we will be 2 mandate down, this is the arithmetic. With that, it will be more complicated. Of course we can be with them if they recognise the Jewish state, a Jewish democratic country, but it's so far. So, we win, but not sure," another local said.

Israel held a general vote for the fourth time in two years as neither Netanyahu nor his recent opponents have been able to secure a majority of seats in the 120-member Knesset to form a coalition government.

SOT, Likud party supporter: "Even if Netanyahu is going to have 61 or 62 or even 63 (seats), it's not going to be a stable government. So, the prospects for a fifth election might be realised unfortunately. Most of us do not want it without any difference between right wingers and left wingers. So we are not about to solve the political crisis in Israel. It’s too early to say. We just do hope that until the morning, until tomorrow, the results will be much more clear. We do want to have a government. I’m not sure, I’m not sure that it will be possible for the moment. According to what we know up until now, I cannot be optimistic."

SOT, Likud party supporter: "Firstly if the result is true, this is a big victory firstly to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after the negative campaign in the last years and the start of investigation and all the shows, demonstration of hate. You know, there isn’t no morality left in Israel. Today, this one side Netanyahu and another side, only not Bibi. Ask them, ok, not Bibi, no problem, so to who vote? Never mind, just not Bibi, not Bibi. Because they don’t have what to sell. And you know, they are so angry that Mr Netanyahu win time after time in a democracy election and try with all the investigations."

SOT, Likud party supporter: "I believe we will be more than 61. Right now, we are 61 according to all the three polls of all the channels.
